In 1984 the 3 founders of Imagetext were faced with a big decision – to keep along the traditional typesetting path or to embrace the new era of ‘digital typesetting’ and go about reinventing themselves so they could take their clients on a journey that would change the course of their businesses forever.
It was a decision not taken lightly, as a change of this magnitude is a scary thing, but it was exciting, even pioneering times in the world of technology in publishing – the Apple Macintosh had just been introduced to the world.
29 years later we can say it was clearly the right decision to take and while Imagetext has had to make several other large decisions over the years to become the market leader it is today in the highly competitive and constantly changing IT industry, it has done so while listening, guiding and responding to client requirements and needs at every stage of our life cycle.
