Take State Highway 1 from Central Christchurch (north towards Kaikoura or Picton). Pass through main villages of Woodend and Amberley. Continue to Waipara and turn left onto State Highway 7 signed Hanmer Springs and Lewis Pass. Cross the winding Weka Pass and after approx 10 mins you arrive in Waikari .On the right is the Star and Garter and opposite there is a car park with toilets. We will arrange to meet you at this point to follow us to our home base. |
