We look to the future with excitement and hope as the Body of Christ in the Diocese of Auckland. On our website you will find information about the life of the Diocese, its places, and the people who are part of it.
The Diocese covers the area stretching from North Cape, across the Hauraki Plains including the Coromandel Peninsula and south to the regions surrounding the Waikato River. Within this area you will find over 90 Anglican Parishes, Mission Districts and Local Shared Ministry Units. Anglican clergy also serve as chaplains in schools, hospitals, prisons, universities and military establishments. There are a number of significant social service agencies making care available to the 1.5 million people who live within the Diocese.
None of this ministry would be fulfilled without the thousands of hours given so freely by volunteers who are part of these places of worship and mission.
