Private Pilots Licence (PPL)
Flying is fun, challenging and rewarding. It is a fast, safe and cost-effective way to travel. With a Private Pilots Licence (PPL) you are taking charge of an aircraft and flying yourself.
In New Zealand there are no minimum educational requirements to start Aviation Training. An understanding of mathematics and physics is helpful.
The Commercial Pilot’s Licence (CPL)
A Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) is the next step up from a Private Pilot Licence (PPL). With this licence you gain a significant amount more flying experience and it also means that you can fly for hire or reward. You need to be at least 18years old to hold a CPL.
